Flexible online and in-person courses

For the first time in program history, you can earn your certificate fully online. You must take at least nine semester hours of courses with live instruction over Zoom.

Earn your certificate on your schedule

At the Chicago Campus, you can take full-time courses during the day and finish your certificate in 4 1/2 months. Or you can take evening courses part time and finish in a little over one year. At the Schaumburg campus, you can complete the program in 9 months taking classes only on Saturdays and online.

Paralegals may not provide legal services directly to the public, except as permitted by law.  

According to ABA Guidelines, students must take at least nine semester credits or the equivalent of legal specialty courses through synchronous instruction.
