Getting Around

The CTA UPass offers unlimited rides on any CTA bus or train during the fall and spring semesters. Divvy bike share is a quick and affordable way to get around town, and there’s a station right outside our Michigan Avenue entrance. ParkWhiz and SpotHero can help you find nearby parking, and Roosevelt also offers discounted parking with the Chicago Hilton at 720 S. Michigan Avenue. (Restrictions apply)

Roosevelt is also expanding student transit options with the UPass + Metra Program, an optional mobile pass that gives students more flexibility for commuting to campus, exploring the Chicagoland area, and traveling to internships, cultural attractions, and educational sites across the region.

Students must opt in each semester to use the Metra portion of UPass + Metra. The program is available only in fall and spring semesters. Students may save more than 50% in monthly commuting costs by participating through Roosevelt University.
