How to Apply

Transfer in just two easy steps.

  • Step 1:  Apply Online
  • Step 2: Submit transcripts from all previously attended colleges or universities
    • Submit transcripts to
    • If you have under 15 transfer credits, we will also need a high school transcript
    • An application can be reviewed for admission with an unofficial transcript but official transcripts are required before registering for classes

Making higher education affordable and accessible is part of our mission. Our new tuition makes Roosevelt comparable to many public institutions. Plus, students are still eligible for financial aid and grants.

Each year, approximately 50 percent of Roosevelt’s incoming class is composed of transfer students from more than 70 institutions. RU provides an outstanding academic experience, broad academic choices, generous transfer policies, small class sizes and access to faculty with real-world experiences.

Roosevelt is proud of the relationships it has built with community colleges in the Chicagoland area. These partnerships include transfer agreements, guides, and transfer pathways.
