The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) ensures that students have certain rights regarding their educational records. Under FERPA, the University may not disclose student records (except to Roosevelt University officials who have a legitimate educational interest) without the student's written consent. For more details about FERPA, please refer to the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) policy. Students can give parents, legal guardians or other trusted parties access to view certain pieces of their educational records and other student information online. This access is referred to as proxy access, and the person who is granted this authorization is called the Roosevelt University proxy.
