Update Personal Information

As an extension of its commitment to inclusiveness and social justice, and in accordance with the University’s Name and Gender Change Policy,  Roosevelt University will honor a student’s request to select a preferred name and/or gender other than their legal name or gender.

To change your legal name to a preferred name, or to change your gender designation or pronouns, please visit RU Access and follow the below steps:

1. Please review this chart to see which systems your change will affect
2. Log in to RU Access
3. Navigate to the "Personal Information" Tab
4. Select "Personal Dashboard"
5. In the Personal Details screen select “Edit”
6. Enter preferred name, gender, or pronouns
