The program is practical and experiential; students will be well-prepared to make immediate impact in the field or respective workplace after graduation. Among a diverse population of students, we place an emphasis on personal and professional integrity, as well as the importance of social responsibility.

The Heller College of Business faculty offer an accelerated BS in Business Administration/Master of Business Administration (MBA) program to eligible students.  Students entering this program can earn both bachelor's and master's degrees in less time than earning these degrees separately.

Expectations & Requirements

Standards

Students have access to Trading Room and Bloomberg terminals to develop financial analytical skills and experience, preparing them for internship and research opportunities from leading Chicago-area businesses, as well as international study opportunities.

Each fall, finance students and faculty visit the St. Louis Federal Reserve Bank for the annual “Day at the Fed” program; Roosevelt is the only university invited to attend from outside their region.

Our Honor Program offers an enriched academic curriculum of interdisciplinary courses, which brings students and professors together in small classes and individual research settings.

The CCCF Fellows Program provides finance business students the resources, tools and guidance needed to successfully reach their professional goals.

Minor Requirements

There are finance minor programs for both business and non-business students.

Students of finance major must complete six courses in finance and related fields with grades of C- or higher. Students of finance minor must complete four courses in finance at the 300 level without overlap with the major requirements.
