Four Years Tuition-Free

At Roosevelt, we offer a transformational private education in a world-class city while prioritizing affordability. With low tuition and a commitment to opportunity and access to education, we stand out in the Midwest. Through the Roosevelt Pledge, Illinois residents with a family income under $50,000 can attend tuition-free for four years. This is our pledge to you. 

To be considered for the Roosevelt Pledge students must submit the FAFSA by March 15.

Roosevelt in the News

"Maryland Governor Wes Moore has appointed Dr. Carla D. Hayden and Dr. Kimberly R. Moffitt to serve on the Maryland Public Broadcasting Commission, Maryland Public Television’s 11- member governing body."

Dr. Hayden received her bachelor's in Political Science and African history from Roosevelt. 

"In December 2025, her company, Cybele Energy, made history by securing a shallow-water offshore oil block in Guyana through a landmark Production Sharing Agreement (PSA) with the Government of Guyana.

The deal marks the first time an African-owned company has been granted offshore petroleum acreage in the South American nation."

Mensah-Tayui received her bachelor's in Economics and Business Administration from Roosevelt.

"City Lit Theater has announced programming for the 2026-27 season, with a lineup that honors its long traditions of adapting literary works for the stage, providing a platform for emerging playwrights, and revisiting classic plays."

Manasa received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting (Performance Theater) from the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt.
