As the new semester kicks off, Marshall Bennett Institute of Real Estate is proud to welcome two new adjunct faculty members – each with over 20 years of real estate expertise!

Jeffrey Cohen (left) is teaching real estate finance and investment. Appointed in May 2024 as deputy commissioner for the Bureau of Economic Development in the City of Chicago, Cohen specializes in capital advisory, including debt and equity placements, buy-side advisory, owner’s representation and investment sales.

Teaching real estate valuation, Rob Rose (right) is the founder and CEO of Rose Capital Group LLC, with experience in real estate, community development, land banking and finance. He founded the firm to address the racial wealth gap in communities of color and now teaches one of the most diverse real estate student bodies in the country. Rose holds an MBA from Cornell University and a BBA from St. Edward’s University.

We’re honored to have such accomplished real estate experts join our team and look forward to the impact they’ll make on our students.
