Honors Program students stand in Grant Park with a partially illustrated Chicago skyline behind them

Learn about the incredible accomplishments of current Roosevelt Lakers and alumni in the Winter 2024 edition of the Roosevelt Review. Since the University was founded in 1945, it has welcomed students who have traveled all paths and encouraged its graduates to forge new trails in the wider world. This latest Roosevelt Review spotlights the experiences of studying abroad, developing a global mindset and appreciating the incredible cultural diversity of Chicago through its architecture.

Journeys are all around us, and while our journeys may share destinations, our stories are different. Editor Jared G. Fritz-McCarty introduces the two types of journeys represented in this issue. The first, a physical voyage. The second, a process of personal and intellectual transformation. “Travel unfolds a world that would otherwise exist as a mere figment of our imagination,” he writes.
