Life in the Wabash Building
The Wabash Building is a 31 story tower located in Chicago's downtown Loop neighborhood. Student residence hall rooms are located on floors 15 and 17 through 31. If the conveniences of living and learning in a vertical campus are not enough, the breathtaking views of Lake Michigan and Willis Tower, and the proximity to public transportation and Grant Park, make this building a once-in-a-lifetime living experience.

As a Wabash resident, you have easy access to:
- Dedicated ResNet WiFi throughout the residential areas of the building
- Watch movies or shows using our campus partner streaming service SWANK. Want to have a specific show or movie loaded to SWANK? Let the Office of Residence Life or the Wabash Community Council know!
- Barry Crown Fitness Center
- Recreation & study rooms
- Community kitchens

Laundry & Mail
The laundry room on the 15th Floor of the Wabash Building is home to dozens of washers and dryers that you can use for free!
All residential students receive a campus mailbox on the 14th floor of the Wabash Bulding and can pick up packages at the mailroom in the Auditorium Buiilding.
Guests
Guests are welcome in your residence hall, giving you the chance to share your living experience with friends and family. Just stay with your guests while they’re visiting, make sure they have a valid ID, and follow the guest limits and overnight guidelines. These expectations help keep the community comfortable and safe for everyone.
Support
Living on your own doesn't mean you are alone!
- Trained Resident Advisors live on every residential floor
- Residence Life staff are available to answer questions and help resolve issues
- Help is available both during the day and after hours
Get Involved
We encourage all residents to get involved in their residence hall community.
- Join the Wabash Community Council, a volunteer-based leadership group that provides events to the whole Wabash community.
- Each month Resident Assistants host a variety of free programs and events for their floors and the entire building. They provide a great opportunity to make new friends and be social with fellow community members.
- Work with Res Life: apply to be an RA or an office assistant!
Maintenance
If something in your room needs fixing, students can submit a work order for the Wabash Building by visiting the Office of Residence Life on the 14th Floor in person, calling the Office at 312-341-2005 or sending an email to reslife@roosevelt.edu.

Life in University Center
The University Center Chicago (UCC) is located just one block away from the Wabash Building. This building houses students from Roosevelt University, Columbia College Chicago, DePaul University and National Louis University.
