Dr. Mary Hornick is an Assistant Professor of Biological Sciences at Roosevelt University College of Pharmacy. She teaches courses in Pathophysiology and Clinical Microbiology & Immunology along with the elective 'Medicine or Menace: Introduction to Psychedelics'.
Dr. Hornick serves on a number of college committees, as Vice Chair of the College Council and as member of the Progression & Graduation and Curriculum Committees. She also serves as the College of Pharmacy representative for the RU Planning & Budget Committee and as an alternate for the RU Institutional Review Board.
Additionally, Dr. Hornick is highly involved and interested in neuropharmacological research, focusing on the endothelin and endocannabinoid systems and their involvement neuronal development and neurovascular repair mechanisms.
