About Me
Emily has been the Resident Costume Designer at the CCPA Theatre Conservatory (Roosevelt University) since 2007, designing over 50 shows. She also manages the costume shop in addition to teaching and supervising students. As a freelance designer, Emily has been active in Chicago theatre since 1999. She has been an Artistic Associate at Steep Theatre since 2011, and other Chicago theatre credits include The House, Northlight, Oak Park Festival Theatre, Lifeline Theatre, and The Gift. She is adjunct faculty at Roosevelt and at Columbia College Chicago. She is a member of USA829, and has a certificate in Wig Styling and Dressing from DePaul. She has a BA in Drama from Dartmouth College and an MFA in Stage Design from Northwestern.
