About Me
Henry Sparks is an academic advisor for the College of Performing Arts.
He advises all students within the Interdisciplinary Conservatory as well as all BFA Musical Theater, MA Performing Arts Administration, and MA Theater Directing students.
Henry is a graduate of DePaul University (MM Jazz Studies) and Central Washington University (BM Music Education and Trombone Performance). Along with academic advising, he is an active performer and educator in the Chicagoland area, holding a faculty position as a low brass instructor at The People's Music School. Henry freelances and band leads as a jazz trombonist, with performances at venues including as The Green Mill, Andy's, the Salt Shed, and the Chicago Jazz Festival.
