The Legacy Fund

In a powerful affirmation of its mission and future, Roosevelt University has announced the launch of the Legacy Fund, a new fundraising initiative made possible by a transformational $5 million gift from alumna Jane Stedman, B.A. ’75.

The Legacy Fund is designed to support forward-thinking initiatives that extend beyond the scope of standard operating budgets. These include expanded financial aid, faculty and staff development, and vital infrastructure and technology upgrades—efforts that are crucial for maintaining Roosevelt’s relevance and competitiveness in today’s rapidly evolving higher education landscape.

You, too, can support our legacy.

An additional $1 million has been designated as a matching gift to encourage new contributions and inspire collective impact. We invite you to join this effort—not on amount but in generosity.

“This gift moves us deeply—not just because of its size, but because of the trust and vision it represents. It reaffirms that what we do matters.”

- Ali R. Malekzadeh, president

“I believe Roosevelt must not only endure, but thrive, to continue serving students who are too often overlooked. This gift reflects my support toward a future where education is truly accessible to all.”

- Jane Stedman, B.A. ’75
