Exit loan counseling will provide you with the opportunity to learn about your rights and responsibilities as a loan borrower, the repayment options that are available to you and provide you with the opportunity to revisit and manage the loans you borrowed while you were in school. In order to take advantage of the opportunity to complete the exit loan counseling, we encourage you to log on to the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) in order to get a comprehensive list of the federal student loans that you have borrowed. Please note that the list will not include any private student loans that you have borrowed, so you will want to check your records for information regarding an private loan borrowing or contact the Financial Aid Office for assistance.

For more information regarding federal student loan borrowing and repayment options, you can also visit the Department of Education’s website at https://studentloans.gov.

As always, the Financial Aid Office at Roosevelt University is available to assist and provide you with guidance. Please feel free to contact our office with any questions or concerns.
