Priscilla Archibald is a professor of Latin American literature and interdisciplinary studies. She teaches and writes about Latin American literature, immigration, the Andean region and American hemispheric cultural exchange. The author of Imagining Modernity in the Andes Archibald is currently at work on a book about American hemispheric cultural and literary exchange during the 1920s, 30s and 40s.
She received her Ph.D. in Latin American Literature from Stanford University and her M.A. in Comparative Literature from the University of Chicago.
