I received my PhD in Engineering & Applied Science in December 2007 from the University of New Orleans. My PhD advisor was Dr. Shengru Tu. I joined the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology at Roosevelt University in 2009 as an Assistant Professor and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2015. I've also worked in industrial settings as a software developer for the US Navy both as a contractor and as a Navy civilian and as a network engineer at a bank in the New Orleans area.
My primary teaching areas are introductory-advanced programming courses, software engineering, and IT courses and my research interests are in software engineering, software testing, and distributed systems.
