About Me

I began my career in higher education in 2018 through an internship at my community college in their Early College Department. In April 2023, I joined Roosevelt University as the Graduate Admission Counselor for all CHESS (College of Humanities, Education, and Social Sciences) graduate programs.

I attended City Colleges of Chicago: Kennedy-King College as a STAR Scholar and transferred to DePaul University where I obtained my Bachelors in Sociology with a concentration in Social Inequality and a minor in Criminology. My experience as a transfer student, and a student worker at my university allowed me to experience the inner workings of higher education and as a first-generation college student, it enabled me to further understand and better navigate the college system. Since then, I have found a fulfilling career in admissions by giving back the knowledge I learned as a student and now as a higher education professional in hopes of successfully assisting students into the next step of their careers.
