About Me

A highly sought-after arts executive, speaker, and teacher having successfully worked in settings across America, Australia, and Tokyo.

With more than thirty years of successful executive leadership for America’s most respected, innovative, and accomplished major-league orchestras Paul Hogle has developed a vast network of leaders in the performing arts community. Paul has extensive experience in Board, volunteer, staff, political, financial, educational, and institutional arenas.

Recently named President of the Cleveland Institute of Music – a world-renowned independent conservatory of music situated in the heart of Cleveland's celebrated University Circle campus - Paul collaborates with the organization’s faculty and staff, and works collectively with the board on fundraising and organizational growth.

Prior to joining the Cleveland Institute of Music in 2016, Hogle, in partnership with DSO President & CEO Anne Parsons, was an architect of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra’s unprecedented, highly-publicized turnaround which has resulted in a previously-unimaginable renaissance in Detroit.

Mr. Hogle was also adjunct professor at Wayne State University in the undergraduate Music Business program and is a founding faculty member for Roosevelt University’s Arts Administration Master’s Degree program.

Prior to his time in Detroit, Mr. Hogle has helped lead several of the country’s most respected orchestras including Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago and Indianapolis symphony orchestras.
