Every summer, Roosevelt University students demonstrate the power of experiential learning through a diverse array of internships that bridge academic knowledge with real-world impact. Their stories reflect a shared commitment to growth, service, and professional excellence.

Knowledge (Nunya) Ahadzitse

As a Forensic Consulting Intern at Deloitte, Knowledge Ahadzitse brought enthusiasm, analytical skill, and a collaborative spirit to every project. A rising senior at Roosevelt University, he contributed to high-impact client work by conducting financial analyses, reviewing contracts, and interpreting large datasets across industries like manufacturing and healthcare. His experience was enriched by Deloitte’s “Thrive Together” culture, where mentorship and connection played a central role. Regular coffee chats with senior analysts and managers provided Knowledge with valuable insights into the consulting field and helped him build lasting professional relationships.

Bianca Esparza

Bianca Esparza, a Roosevelt University student from the Class of 2026, spent her summer making a meaningful impact at Family Solutions as a Care Coordinator and Rehabilitative Services Associate. In this dual role, she helped clients access vital mental health services and community resources, while also supporting case management and life skills coaching. The internship gave Bianca hands-on experience in trauma-informed, client-centered care and allowed her to sharpen key skills such as communication, organization, and problem-solving. Her work reflects the value of experiential learning in preparing students for impactful careers in service and advocacy.

Robert P. Hunter

Robert P. Hunter’s professional journey began as an intern at PwC in 2022. From day one, he embraced a proactive mindset; volunteering to help, asking questions, and making himself visible even without assigned tasks. These intentional actions helped him secure a full-time offer while also pursuing a master’s degree at Northeastern University. Today, Robert is an Assurance Specialist at PwC and a proud Roosevelt University alumnus. His experience underscores the importance of showing up, staying curious, and seizing opportunities, no matter how small, as they can lead to long-term career success.

Justus Peters

Justus Peters gained hands-on experience in global sports business as an International Sales Intern at VfL Wolfsburg. His work spanned key international markets: including China, Southeast Asia, North America, and Latin America; where he supported partnership proposals, sales presentations, and contract development. Collaborating directly with senior leadership, Justus contributed to market expansion strategies and has even taught himself Adobe Creative Suite to design marketing materials. He also helped integrate AI tools to enhance team workflows. A highlight of his internship was supporting the StrongHER Project, an initiative that empowers underprivileged girls through sports, education, and mentorship.
