About Me
Elizabeth Meadows is an Associate Professor of Elementary Education in the College of Humanities, Education, and Social Sciences at Roosevelt University in Chicago and Schaumburg, Illinois. Her areas of teaching expertise are in the foundations course, the inquiry in the classroom course, the pre-student teaching and student teaching courses and in teaching freshmen. She was named a First-Year Faculty Fellow at RU, and she has provided support and professional development for other teachers of first-year, college courses. Her research interests include identifying ways that teachers can promote trust and social justice both within and beyond the classroom through discussion. Meadows wrote a chapter in this book: Listening to Teach: Beyond Didactic Pedagogy edited by Leonard J. Waks.
