When Carolyn Jones (BA, ’01; MA, ’03) entered Roosevelt University at the age of 19, she was a single mother with a 10-month-old son. She had no idea what she wanted to do with her life, only that it should involve helping children.

James J. Radous III believes his master’s degree in business administration from Roosevelt University was the catalyst for his success as a leading Illinois businessman.

Education Alum Earns Golden Apple Award

Gregory L. Jones is the third Roosevelt alum in a row to win the Stanley C. Golder Leadership Award

Gregory Jones, an alumnus of the College of Education (Secondary Teacher Education, MA '98) and principal of Chicago’s Kenwood Academy High School, earned Golden Apple’s annual Stanley C. Golder Leadership Award. Jones is the third consecutive College of Education alum to win the Illinois non-profit organization’s award, which honors exemplary performance in school leadership.
