How many students will be in the program?
Enrollment is limited to 20 students.
What are the requirements?
This program is open to rising juniors and seniors with at least a 3.0 GPA (recommended) and an interest in learning about the finance field. This course is designed as an introductory program, so students do not have to have specific courses in their high school curriculum to attend.
When is the deadline to register?
Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and will close when the program is full. As long as the registration page is available on the website, you are welcome to sign up.
Is there an application fee?
There is no separate application or fee, just the registration cost.
How much does it cost?
The cost for this program is $450 for commuter students. Optional housing is an additional $350.
Are there any scholarships or grants available?
Limited scholarships may become available for commuter students. Students who have completed the program will have $500 waived from their first year enrolled as a full-time student at Roosevelt.
When will I know if I am admitted?
An admission decision will be made within two weeks of our receiving your application.
When is payment due?
Students who are accepted will be notified and asked to provide payment at that time. They will then have two weeks from the time of notification to submit confirmation documents and payment, otherwise their spot will be released.
Is there a payment plan?
We are not able to offer a payment plan for this program. All fees must be paid upon admission to the program.
What is the refund policy?
- Requests received by midnight Central time on Sunday, May 26, 2019 are eligible for a full refund.
- From Sunday, May 26 until midnight Central time on Saturday, June 9, a $100 fee will be deducted from the refund.
- After midnight Central time on Sunday, June 9, the entire program fee is non-refundable.
- As of Monday, April 1, 2019, the housing fee is non-refundable.
Will I get credits and a transcript?
This is a non-credit immersion experience and all students will receive a certificate of completion.
What can I do for lunch?
Lunch will be provided by the program.
Can I live in the dorms?
Yes. The cost of housing is $800 which includes program tuition, housing and meals. The final date to register for housing and to receive a housing refund is Friday, May 31, 2019.
How do I get to and from campus?
Roosevelt University is located in the heart of downtown Chicago and conveniently accessible by public transportation or car.
