The Summer Pharmacy Academy is a one-week program for rising high school sophomores, juniors and seniors on the Schaumburg Campus.

Summer 2023 program dates: June 20-23 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.

Program Information

The Roosevelt University College of Science, Health & Pharmacy is excited to offer the Summer Pharmacy Academy. The Academy will be offered from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on June 20-23 at our Schaumburg Campus. This is an excellent opportunity for high school students to learn about careers in pharmacy and the pharmaceutical sciences through interactive activities and labs. Enrollment is open to rising high school sophomores, juniors and seniors. Due to the nature of this hands-on course, space is limited.

Eligibility

All rising high school sophomores, juniors and seniors with an interest in the pharmacy and health sciences are welcome to apply. 

Fees

Through a generous grant offered by Walgreens, the $100 registration fee for students to enroll this summer will be waived.

Students will receive a t-shirt, lab activity and hands-on learning materials, lunch on the last day, and a certificate of completion.
