Dr. Ashley Stefanski (PharmD ’19) received the Roosevelt University College of Pharmacy 2019 Enlightenment Award, the highest honor bestowed on a graduating student.  This award recognizes Dr. Stefanski’s commitment, competence and compassion during her time as a student.

Stefanski earned a Bachelor of Science  in Chemistry at the University of Illinois-Chicago. Her passion for working in the medical field developed at a young age. She always knew she had a love for helping people, but her love of pharmacy developed in high school after taking chemistry. Pharmacy was the perfect field to combine her passion for chemistry and her desire to promote positive change in people’s lives.

During her time in pharmacy school, Dr. Stefanski was involved in APhA-ASP, SSHP, PAPAs and Rho Chi. She also participated in vitamin D and cancer research and served as the college’s first peer tutor. Stefanski has served with Mariano’s Pharmacy for over five years and recently accepted a pharmacist position there. She is dedicated to providing personalized care and promoting the well-being of her patients.
