Current Students: Winter Break Housing Information

More in this section...
Wabash Building Residence closes every year during the university winter break period.  Most students go home or travel during break, but for those planning to stay in the area it is important to plan accordingly for alternative living accommodations. University Center remains open during winter break and therefore residents of University Center are allowed to stay.

2017-2018

Wabash Building Residence

Wabash closes on Sunday, December 16 at noon.

  • Only international students and select athletes as required by their sporting events will be permitted to stay.
  • Winter Break Guest Policy: Residents can have 1 guest during the day and 1 guest overnight for 3 days during a 10-day period.
  • All other residents must be out of the building by closing time.
  • Residents are notified at move-in of closing information for winter break and then reminded at floor meetings each month.  We encourage them to begin making travel plans early for break (booking plane tickets, setting up rides with parents or friends, etc.).
