Oakton Community College Notes:

1. Roosevelt offers Noyice Scholarships - to be eligible students need a 3.0 GPA or higher

2. Students complete at least 27 pre-clinical hours in K-12 schools as part of their required Secondary Education courses at Oakton.

3. Students must pass the TAP test to be admitted to a College of Education or have the required minimum ACT or SAT scores.

4. Students are encourages to use summer/winter interim sessions in order to spread out the load more reasonable. The sequence of courses is recommended, students may follow a different sequence based on scheduling needs.

5. Part time students and students in Developmental English/Math are encouraged to maintain the recommended sequence of courses over more semesters.

2. Any pending general education courses are identified at time of admission by the College of Education advisor. The advisor will determine during which semester any pending course(s) can be taken.
