Roosevelt University will accept a maximum of 70 credit hours in transfer

ENG, MATH 140, BIO 115, 116, and CHM 121/122 are required core courses for Roosevelt. Schaumburg campus transfers also require MATH 140+ and Humanities/Social Science general education credits.

BIOL elective courses must cover all six core competency areas. Courses may cover up to two competency areas. See RU catalog for details.

Students may apply for admission to the accelerated MS Biology pathway after completing a minimum of 70 total credit hours and one semester of study at RU. Up to 10 credit hours may be applied to both the BS and MS degree, if both degrees are completed at RU.

Please note that with the transfer of an AS degree all Roosevelt University general education core requirements are completed unless a pre-requisite general education course is needed for the major.
