Catherine Campbell, PhD, is an Associate Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS). She joined Roosevelt in 2005 as the Director of Training in the Department of Psychology and has served as the CAS Associate Dean for 6 years. Before coming to Roosevelt in 2005, she held faculty administrative appointments at the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science and the University of Southern Mississippi.
As Associate Dean, Dr. Campbell supports a wide range of programs in the social sciences, humanities, and STEM disciplines. She works closely with the Office of Admission and directs the CAS Graduate Admission Office.
As a tenured faculty member in Psychology Dr. Campbell teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in general psychology, developmental psychology, and clinical psychology. Her scholarly expertise is in disease prevention, quality of life enhancement, and program evaluation. Dr. Campbell’s recent scholarship has focused on social justice education and barriers to care and educational opportunities. She is a research mentor and advisory board member of the Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program. She is a member of the Council of the Colleges of Arts & Sciences and the American Psychological Association.
