Dr. Ildiz is the Clinical Coordinator and a Staff Psychologist at RU Counseling Center. She earned her doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2017. She completed her Internship at Florida Gulf Coast University, Counseling and Psychological Services and her Postdoctoral Residency at the University of North Florida, Counseling Center prior to joining the staff at RU. Dr. Ildiz’s prior experience includes working with traditional and non-traditional college students, first generation and international students, veterans, and members of the LGBTQ community. Her clinical interests include concerns related to identity development, relationships, emotion regulation, depression and anxiety, trauma, and substance use. She primarily utilizes an interpersonal approach in therapy and values integrating mindfulness and Psychodynamic, Acceptance and Commitment and Cognitive Behavioral therapies to meet the needs of her students. In her free time, Dr. Ildiz enjoys practicing yoga, spending time in nature and cooking new recipes.
