Dr. Cara Brock, PharmD, CGP,
is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Sciences, Director of Professional Labs,
and Interim Co-Coordinator of the Department of Clinical and Administrative
Sciences at Roosevelt University College of Pharmacy. Her practice specialty is in pain, palliative,
and hospice. Prior to her current position, Dr. Brock practiced as a community
pharmacist. Current research interests focus on treatment of hospice and
palliative care symptoms, pharmacist interventions in the hospice setting, and
scholarship of teaching focused on the use of standardized patients and objective
structured clinical exams (OSCE) in the PharmD curriculum. She has presented research at local, regional
and national meetings. She currently
serves as a the Chair of the Conference and Education Committee of the Illinois
Pharmacists Association and serves as a member of the Board of Trustees and Founding
Member for the Society of Palliative Care Pharmacists.
