The Master of Arts in Training and Development
Mission Statement
Training and Development

The mission of the Graduate Program in Training and Development (TRDV) is to develop skillful, knowledgeable and reflective workplace learning and performance professionals who are competent to help adults improve their performance in a variety of organizational settings, and to help organizations achieve effectiveness through diverse instructional methods and media.

The TRDV curriculum is designed to foster the following outcomes:

button Design, delivery, and evaluation of adult education programs

button Integration of appropriate technology into training delivery

button Applicaton of a constructivist educational model

button Application of critical thinking and problem solving skills to industry challenges

button Facilitation of social justice and equality in all aspects of professional personal practice

button Contribution as professional leaders in the industry and in the community
