Whether you choose Roosevelt University's historic Chicago Campus or its modern Schaumburg Campus, you'll always feel at home.  Roosevelt University is more than a quality, private education.  It is a diverse community brimming with thinkers and students who will shape the future of Chicago and the world.

Get All the Credit

Roosevelt’s well-trained staff of professionals will help you keep moving. Our admission counselors are experts at evaluating past credits and can answer any questions you may have.

Our generous transfer policy allows you to transfer up to 66 semester hours of credit from your community college and up to 90 semester hours from a four year college or university. A minimum of 30 semester hours at Roosevelt is needed to graduate. There are also opportunities to participate in adult, time-shortened programs if you’re 24 years of age or older as well as other ways to make your transition to a bachelor’s degree a smooth one.

Your success is our goal at Roosevelt. To assure success in your courses, all new transfer and undergraduate students take the Roosevelt University Assessment (RUA), which helps us place you in the right classes based on your skill level.

Any time is a good time to transfer to Roosevelt. We don’t require a minimum number of transfer credit hours*, which means you can start pursuing a four-year degree as early as next semester. You can start getting the credit you deserve today!

*You must submit high school transcripts for admission if you transfer with less than 15 semester hours.

Credit Evaluations

Official evaluations of credit earned at other institutions are completed by professional credit evaluators from the Office of the Registrar once you have submitted official transcripts and been admitted to the University. Remember, an “official” transcript is one delivered in an unopened, sealed envelope to Roosevelt. Unofficial credit estimates may be completed by the admission staff at either campus.
