The
Manfred Steinfeld School of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Roosevelt
University has been assisting secondary schools and community college
instructors to develop hospitality education programs. At the same time,
the university has recognized that certain instructors can benefit from
learning that deals with instructional methods in hospitality and tourism,
organizing and administering cooperative education, and a workplace
experience in the industry.
The three graduate level courses that comprise the Hospitality Educator
Certificate provide instructors with information and experiences intended
to allow participants to transfer these to their instructional program.
