Hands Together, Heart to Art

The Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University’s one-of-a-kind summer camp program, Hands Together, Heart to Art, marks its fifth year this summer.  HTHTA is designed specifically for children ages 7-14 who have experienced the death of one or both parents.  Through music, dance, theater and the opportunity to be with other children who have experienced a similar loss, HTHTA aids campers’ healing journeys.  The HTHTA team includes experienced and exuberant teaching artists, licensed counselors and Auditorium staff members.

This year’s Roosevelt sessions are from July 6-17 and July 20-31.  The program is also expanding this year to serve children in the Quad Cities area, running August 3-14 at the Western Illinois University Quad City Campus in Moline.  If you know of a child in either location who could benefit from HTHTA, please call us at 312.922.2110 ext 353 or email education@auditoriumtheatre.org.
