Student Health Insurance

Roosevelt University is pleased to partner with Aetna Student Health, formerly known as The Chickering Group, as our student health insurance administrator. Aetna Student Health offers comprehensive health insurance coverage to more than 240,000 students on campuses coast to coast. Aetna Student Health works with a network of local and national health care providers to make sure students have access to the best care available.

Participation in the student health insurance plan is:
- required for currently enrolled F1 and J1 international students and all students living in university housing at the Chicago Campus.  The annual student health insurance fee is charged to students unless students can demonstrate they have equivalent coverage and complete the online waiver.

- optional for currently enrolled, full-and part-time, degree seeking, commuting domestic students.

You can search either by the university name or the university policy number - 812841. This basic student plan is available annually or by term. Students pay for insurance directly to Aetna Student Health.
