Residence Life

This is a great time of year to be downtown! You can enroll in classes, work around the city and take full advantage of all the events and activities.

Applications for the 2008-2009 are now available!

If you are a new resident or returning resident, you have two housing options for the summer:

Option 1: You can choose an annual contract term in the University Center for the 2008-2009 year which would allow you to live on campus from May 2008 to May 2009.

Action: Complete the 2008-2009 contract for an annual term.

Option 2: You can choose an annual contract term for the 2008-2009 year by living in the University Center for the summer and moving to ROW in the fall. You would live on campus from May 2008 to May 2009.

Action: Complete the 2008-2009 contract for an annual term.

Option 3:You can choose to live on campus for the summer only and not live on campus for the fall.

Action: If you choose this option you will need to contract with the UC directly. Contact them for rates.

Summer Rates: Students can figure out their summer rates for options 1 & 2 by subtracting the academic rate from the annual rate.

Items to Note

  • ROW will be available beginning fall 2008. Students residing in ROW for fall who want to stay for the summer will live in the UC and move to their new room in August.
  • Students choosing Options 1 & 2 will have their room and board charges added to their account in April. Students choosing Option 3 will make payment arrangements with the UC directly.
  • Summer room assignments from RU will be sent approximately in April
  • Students on an annual contract will be assigned to a room by Roosevelt University and students staying only for the summer will be assigned to a room by the UC.
  • RU students are not required to take classes in the summer in order to live on campus
  • University services are limited
