Frequently Asked Questions 1. Can my family stay in my hall room overnight? Families will need to find overnight accommodations outside of the residence halls. See this page for a listing of area lodging options. 2. What about parking and drop-off or pick-up?” Students moving into University Center will unload vehicles behind the building in the service drive just off Congress Parkway. Herman Crown Center residents should park along Wabash Ave. and unload their items into the large cardboard bins that will be provided. Please make sure that someone stays with your vehicle at all times to prevent it from being ticketed and towed. Roosevelt University is not responsible for ticketing and/or towing by the City of Chicago. Parking garages are located within steps of the university though none are affiliated with Roosevelt. The costs can vary per garage and may change daily. Students will be asked to move their cars away from the unloading area as soon as all items are unloaded. The policies may vary between
the halls but generally students will need to reside in their assigned room for
a minimum of two weeks into the semester before the process of changing
rooms/roommates can take place. Your hall handbook will describe the specifics. Living in the UC? Once student have activated their dining center cards they can begin using their Flex Dollars. Please note that university services (including dining at both halls) may be limited until the start of the semester. 6. Where are you located? The UC is located at 525
