the University Center dining center do the work for you. With a meal plan, you receive a convenient dining experience 
with great benefits, including the security of cashless transactions, the flexibility of à la carte purchasing, 

a wide variety of food choices, tax-free purchasing and the opportunity to socialize with other students. Dining 


plans are easy, economical and designed to meet the needs of your busy lifestyle. We’ve developed several options, 
so you can choose the meal plan that best meets your eating habits and lifestyle. 

Important Information About Meal Plans: 

• Students living in the UC suite rooms and UC double deluxe rooms are required to have a meal plan. 
• Students in UC apartments are not required to purchase a meal plan. Plans are optional and may be purchased 
at the UC dining center. 

• Students in ROW may choose from the apartment meal plan at the UC. Enrollment in a UC dining plan is 
limited and available on a first come, first serve basis. 

• Flex dollars work on a debit system and are used for grab-and-go items, whereas meals are all-you-care-to-eat. 
• Students in UC suite rooms will automatically be assigned the Standard Meal Plan unless they indicate a 
different option on their application. 

• Students may add flex dollars and/or upgrade their meal plan by visiting the UC dining center. 
• Dietary requests and recipe suggestions are welcome by the dining center staff. 
• Meal cancellation policies can be found in the UC residence hall handbook.

The cost is $3,550 for an academic year (August to May). 


Meal Plan #2: Standard 
(Recommended Plan) 
The Standard offers 15 meals per week plus $690 in flex dollars per 
year. The cost is $3,114 for an academic year (August to May). 
The cost is $4,416 for an annual year (May to May). 
Meal Plan #3: Basic The Basic offers 10 meals per week plus $690 in flex dollars per year. 
The cost is $2,424 for an academic year (August to May). 
The cost is $3,446 for an annual year (May to May). 


Meal Plan #4: Apartment Students in apartments who want a meal plan can choose this plan. 
This block plan offers a total of 150 meals plus $280 in flex dollars 
per academic year (August to May). The cost is $1,540. This option is 
available only to students living in UC apartments and in ROW.
