I'm not a Roosevelt student but I still need housing. How do I go about applying?

Welcome students from other colleges and universities, to Roosevelt on Washington (ROW)! Students can choose from any of the apartment-style housing offered in ROW. The #4 apartment meal plan at the University Center is available for students interested in purchasing a commuter meal plan. Row is located at 55 East Washington in the Pittsfield Building.

Housing contracts for non-RU students will be available will be available in July. Please check back at that time to apply.

Step 1: Click on Apply For Housing to download a contract.

Step 2: A $500 pre-payment is required with your contract and will be credited to your spring account. The pre-payment is required in addition to the amount owed for room and board (if applicable). We accept checks, and the following credit cards: Visa, Master and Discover.

Step 3:  Send your contract and $500 pre-payment to the following address:

Remember to keep the yellow copy of your contract for your files.

Step 4: Gather your funds! Full room and board (if applicable) payment is required up front at the start of each Roosevelt semester. You will need to show a receipt of payment to obtain your room keys for the fall and are required to show your payment receipt to the Office of Residence Life before moving back into the hall for spring and summer.

Items to Note:

• Non-RU students are eligible to reside in ROW. Housing is not available in the University Center.
• Contracts are either academic (August to May) or annual (May to May).
• We will allow students to move-in earlier and stay later based on their school’s academic year
• Prepayment Information
• Contracts will not be reviewed without a pre-payment
• The pre-payment is required each year with a new contract.
• Pre-payments will be returned to a student if their cancellation for housing is received in writing by June 1 for the fall term and November 1 for the spring.
• The pre-payment will be credited to your spring account
• We do our best to accommodate all building, room and roommate requests, however, requests not granted will not void a contract. Please refer to the back of your contract for more details.
• Although we are typically able to offer housing to non-RU students, priority for space is given first to Roosevelt students.
