Applications for 2008-2009 are now available!

Just How Easy Can We Make Applying For Housing? Check it Out! Five Quick & Easy Steps!

Step 1:  Have you been admitted to Roosevelt University? If you’re not sure, check with the Office of Admission at 877-277-5978 or applyRU@roosevelt.edu

Step 2: Where do you want to live? Check out the building, room types and meal plans you would like before logging on to apply for housing.

• Not sure what building and/or room type to choose? No problem, check them out by clicking on Buildings, Room Layouts, Amenities, & Rates
• Not sure what meal plan to choose? No problem, let us help you decide! Click Meal Plans!

Step 3: When do you want to move in? The annual contract begins in May 2008 and goes to May 16, 2009. Academic contracts run from August 2008 to May 16, 2009.

Step 4: Do you have your credit card out and ready? You will be asked to submit your pre-payment before you can submit your contract. We accept the following: Visa, Master and Discover.

Step 5:  Have you read through the cancellation policies?

Step 6:  You are ready to apply! Click on Apply Now! Contracts are only available online. Remember that you are signing a contract so read through the contract term agreements and conditions and print out a copy for your records.

CONGRATULATIONS! You’re done! So sit back and let us process your contract and pre-payment. You will receive an automatic email response once your information has been received. Would you like to know when you will receive your room and roommate assignments? Click on Room Assignments!

Items to Note:

• Studios and two bedroom apartments in the UC are limited.
• Traditional age first year students are not eligible to live in apartments for their first year at Roosevelt.
• Upper class and graduate students are eligible to live in any type of rooms at the UC and ROW.
• Contracts are either academic (August to May) or annual (May to May).
• Family housing is not available.
• Married housing is available in ROW. Contact the Office of Residence Life for more information.
• Co-ed apartments are available in ROW. Students will need to identify all roommates on their contract in order to be placed together.
• Students in the UC will be assigned to live with other RU students
• Pre-payment Information
  • The pre-payment amount is $500
  • Contracts will not be processed without a pre-payment
  • The pre-payment is required each year with a new contract application.
  • The pre-payment will be credited to student’s spring account
  • Pre-payments will be returned to a student if their cancellation for housing is received in writing by June 1 for the fall term and November 1 for the spring.
  • We accept the following credit cards: Master, Visa and Discover
• We do our best to accommodate all building, room and roommate requests. However, requests not granted will not void a contract. Please refer to the back of your contract for more details.
