Do I need health insurance to live on campus? If so, what do you have? Also, do you have any tips for staying well on campus?

Student Health Insurance

YES! You are required to have health insurance if you are living on campus. You may be on your parent’s/guardian’s plan, one of your own or Roosevelt’s plan with Aetna Student Health (The Chickering Group).

Roosevelt University is pleased to partner with Aetna Student Health as our student health insurance administrator. Aetna Student Health offers comprehensive health insurance coverage to more than 240,000 students on campuses coast to coast to make sure students have access to the best care available.

Participation in the student health insurance plan is required international students and students living in university housing.  International and residence hall students are automatically enrolled in the plan unless students can demonstrate they have equivalent coverage.

For more details about the Plan benefits available to enrolled students, visit www.aetnastudenthealth.com. Click on "Student Connection" and enter 812841 as the Policy Number. This basic student plan is available annually or by term. To receive an informational brochure by mail, call the Office of Student Services at 312-341-2004.
