How to Find a Course in the Online Schedule
Office of the Registrar

  • Logon to Roosevelt University site at www.roosevelt.edu
  • Click on "Schedule" link at the top of the screen.
  • Locate the term of your interest and click on the Course Finder link.
  • To see all courses offered by Roosevelt University during the given term, select in the Course Finder:
    • All Campuses
    • All Subjects
    • All Levels
    • All Attributes
    • All Instructors
    • All Colleges
    • Blank Course Number field
    • All Part of Terms
    • Begin Time: Anytime
    • End Time: Anytime

The Schedule of Classes online is a real time schedule.  The enrollment for each class changes immediately after any student registers for a course or drops it.  Closed classes are shown in the red print.

Our online, dynamic Schedule of Courses includes the following information for each course.  For example:

Course Number: ACCT 210
Course Section: 24
Course Title: Principles of Accounting I
Day: W (Wednesday)
Beginning and Ending Time: 06:30 PM –09:00 PM
Instructors Name: John Doe
Campus: Schaumburg
Maximum enrollment: 35
Current enrollment: 35
Number of students placed on Wait List.

Search may be narrowed down.

Example #1:
Let’s say you want to check which Accounting courses are offered online during the Spring 2006 semester. Take the following steps:

  • Go to the Course Finder for Spring 2006 Semester.
  • In the window titled Campus select Online Courses.
  • In the window titled Subject select Accounting.
  • Click Search button.

All Accounting courses offered online will be displayed.  You may print out results of your search if you wish. Click "Reset" button to start a new search.

Example #2:
Let’s say you want to check if any ART classes are offered for the Spring 2006 in Schaumburg on a graduate level.  Take the following steps:

  • Go to the Course Finder for Spring 2006 Semester
  • In the window titled Campus select Schaumburg.
  • In the window titled Subject select Art.
  • In the window titled Course Level select Graduate.
  • Click Search button.

In this specific case you would find out that in the Spring 2006 semester Roosevelt University does not offer any graduate level art courses at the Schaumburg Campus.
Click "Reset" button to start a new search. 

Example #3
Let’s say you want to find an ENG 100 course.  You know its number, but you are not sure if it will be offered on the Chicago Campus in the Spring 2006 semester.  Take the following steps:

  • Go to the Course Finder for Spring 2006 Semester
  • In the window titled Campus select CHICAGO.
  • In the window titled Subject select ENG.
  • In the window titled Course Number type: 100
  • Click Search button.

All ENG 100 courses offered on the Chicago Campus during the Spring 2006 semester will be displayed.  You may print out results of your search.
Click "Reset" button to start a new search. 

You may also search by the subject or the specific part of the term.  The following options are available: 

  • All parts of terms
  • Full semester
  • First half of semester
  • Second half of semester
  • Late start term
  • LAP
  • J-Term-full session
  • J- Term –intensive session
  • External Studies
  • Spring break intensive classes.

Many variations of search attributes are available to you.   Make a use of them to your advantage.
