The link to our Online Schedule/Course finder is located on the homepage at: www.roosevelt.edu
Open the Course Finder for the appropriate semester. (i.e. Fall 2008 Course Finder) and start search for needed courses. You can search by:
- Campus
- Subject
- Class level
- Day of the week
- Instructor
- College
- Specific subject and a course number
- Begin and end times (session)
- Course Attributes-for example: Honors Program, International Studies, Lab course, Non-Western Culture, Social Justice Studies
Once you have marked the search criteria, click Submit.
The courses you selected in your search criteria, including the course reference number (CRN), course title, meeting time, meeting place, instructor, campus, prerequisites, and course enrollment will be displayed.
Course information printed in red, means that class is closed.
How to Read the Online Schedule
The following system of course numbering is used to indicate the level of instruction and minimal course pre-requisites:
100-199 Open to freshmen as well as other undergraduates
200-299 Sophomores, juniors, seniors
300-399 Open to juniors and seniors
400-499 Open to graduate students only
500-599 Open to doctoral and some graduate students
600-799 Open to doctoral students only
Some departments offer the same course at both the 300 and 400 levels. The 400 level courses have graduate pre-requisites and course requirements. Graduate students must register for the 400 level in order to receive a graduate credit in their program of studies.
