Late Registration & Fees

Registering after the class has met requires the instructor's permission. The following may be accepted: instructor's signature on a Course Selection Worksheet, note written by the instructor, or an email directed to the Registrar's Office: Chicago, Schaumburg.

Students of Department of Communication must have permission from the Department Chair: Linda Jones; the instructor's permission is not sufficient.

Late Fee - Fall and Spring Semesters: 7 calendar days before the start of Fall and Spring terms a late fee of $200 will be assessed at the time of registration for all sessions and courses. However, when the 7th calendar day falls on Sunday or a holiday, then the late fee starts on the first following business day.

Late Fees are not Assessed:

• When a student is adding a course to an existing registration.
• During the intensive Summer sessions.
• To newly admitted students.
• To students registering for individualized sections such as: thesis, independent studies, course by arrangements, internships and their continuation.
• To students registering for external studies.
