Readmission
Undergraduate and Graduate Students in Good Academic Standing
Former undergraduate or graduate degree-seeking students who have been absent from Roosevelt University for three consecutive semesters excluding summer, must submit a Readmission Application to the Office of the Registrar. This application may be obtained online or at the Registrar’s Office of either campus.
Transcripts are Required:
- If you have attended another college or university since leaving Roosevelt, you must submit an official transcript(s) to the Office of Admission.
- If you have been absent from Roosevelt University for five years or more, you must submit official transcripts from all schools attended to the Office of Admission.
Students who Stopped Attendance While on Probation or in Poor Academic Standing
Undergraduate Students on Probation or in Poor Academic Standing are required to have their files reviewed by the Office of Academic Advising: transcripts from schools attended after leaving Roosevelt must be submitted along with the Readmission Application. If you have not attended another institution you are required to write a one page essay explaining your poor record at Roosevelt, and detailing your plan to be successful if readmitted. The Office of Academic Advising will make the readmission decision and notify you promptly. You may submit the required documents directly to the Advising Office at your home campus. If the documents are received by the Registrar’s Office they will be submitted to the Advising Office.
Graduate Students on probation or in poor academic standing
Graduate students who stopped attending Roosevelt University while having their GPA lower than 3.00 or while being on probation need to get a signature from their Program Director on the Readmission Application form.
International Undergraduate and Graduate Students must seek readmission through the international student advisor.
Program Requirements
When the program requirements have changed, requirements in effect at the time of readmission apply.
Fees
There is no fee for readmission.
