Last day for Registering or Adding a Course via RU Access-Online
Students may still register via RU Access during the first week of the session prior to the first meeting of the class. After the class has met, they need to obtain instructor's written permission to register. The following are acceptable: signed note, signature on the Course Selection Worksheet, or email sent to the Registrar's Office. Then, the permission to register and the Course Selection Worksheet or Add/Drop Form signed by an advisor, are to be submitted to the Registrar's Office in person or by fax. If you have been advised and received a Registration Code you may put this on the form instead of your advisor's signature.
Dropping the Course via RU Access/Online
Students may drop a course via RU Access during the period when there is still the eligibility for a 100% tuition refund.
Please note: the General Fee of $125 for undergraduate students, $150 for graduate students, and $25 Student Activity Fee are not refundable. When the class is dropped by the deadline, no grade will be posted to student's record.
After the deadline for a 100% has passed, dropping the course is available only in person, by mail, or by fax. Students having financial aid, including student loans, must obtain a financial aid officer's signature on their Add/Drop form before submitting it to the Registrar's Office. A "W" grade will be posted to student's record. For full information regarding the percentage of refund eligibility, and corresponding dates please refer to Tuition Refund Schedule.
