Real Estate Graduate Scholarships 

Partial real estate scholarships are available to graduate students enrolled in a real estate degree program.  The amount of the award and the guidelines for selection are determined each year by the Institute of Real Estate.

The scholarship applicant must be accepted to a real estate program as a degree-seeking student.  To be eligible for scholarship consideration on admission, an undergraduate grade point average of at least a 2.8 is required and enrollment in at least 6 semester hours per semester.  Real Estate Scholarships can only be used as a tuition credit.  In addition all scholarship recipients must take four professional devlelopement workshops before graduation.

  • CoreNet Global Chicago Chapter Award for Academic Excellence

Assists qualified students in pursuing an education in real estate; to facilitate opportunities that will lead to productive careers in corporate real estate; and to promote real estate as a discrete and important field of study within the academic community.

Award Year: 2009-2010

Amount Awarded: $5,000

Deadline: December 1, 2009

  • SIOR

Awards scholarships with the goal to recognize and reward outstanding academic performance in business and real estate courses and to expose recipients to career opportunities and intership programs available within the Chicago real estate community.

Award Year: 2008-2009

Amount Awarded: $3,000

  • The Illinois Chapter of CCIM Offers Scholarships

Assists students desiring a career in real estate and to promote high educational standards.  This program enables commendable university students majoring in real estate to experience the CCIM Institute's education first hand. 

Amount Awarded: $1,000 plus a voucher for tuition for a CCIM Institute CI 101 course

  • IREM Foundation

The IREM Foundation is committed to helping the Institute attract young people into the real estate managment industry.  The purpose of the scholarship is to support the study of real estate and to promote careers in real estate management.

Amount Awarded Graduate: up to $5,000

Amount Awarded Undergraduate: up to $2,500

Money awarded may be applied toward tuition, books, and fee expenses connected with the program of study in the ensuing academic year

  • Commercial Real Estate Executive Women (CREW) of Chicago Scholarship

Awarded annually on the basis of academic excellence and are intended to help qualified students pursue an education that will lead them into productive careers in real estate.
