PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Teresa and Hipolito Roldan Scholarship Program for Tomorrow's Hispanic Leaders in Community Development and Real Estate has been established through The Chicago Community Trust to provide scholarships for students in the Chicago School of Real Estate at Roosevelt University. The scholarship program will provide financial assistance of $5,000 per student per year for up to two school years in order to complete the graduate real estate degree program; as long as the student meets all the requirements of the program.
The scholarship program will give preference to candidates from a Latino heritage particularly those who have demonstrated service to their community.
This scholarship program is designed to give opportunities to students by combining academic training with "hands on" experience in community development and real estate. Students will obtain either of two Walter E. Heller College of Business Administration graduate degrees: MBA - Concentration in Real Estate or the Master of Science in Real Estate.
The program is tailored to complement the pioneering work Mr. “Paul” Hipolito Roldan, President, Hispanic Housing Development Corporation, has accomplished over the past 30 years and to honor his parents, Teresa and Hipolito Rolda
