The Chapter will have a social gathering during the Midwest Clinic on Friday, December 22nd from 8:00 am til 9:30 am at Roosevelt University, 430 S. Michigan, in Marks Hall, room 964.  Enter from Michigan Ave, go to the 9th floor, turn right twice and continue to the far end of the corridor.


• The Chapter's annual meeting will be held on Friday, January 26, 2007, at 11:45 am at the Packard Plaza Hotel in Peoria, Illinois.


• Nominations for new members should be sent to Executive Secretary Charles Groeling no later than November 1st.


• Nominations for the Hall of Fame should be sent to Dave Fodor no later than December 15th.


• Nominations for the Outstanding Band Director should be sent to Ed Winkler no later than December 15th.


• The Mentoring Committee is available to help any new Band Directors in our area. Please contact Richard Alderman to initiate assistance.
